

Par-A-Dice Partners with EP!C To Enrich the Lives of People with Disabilities

In March, Par-A-Dice Hotel Casino hosted EP!C’s 12th Annual Bon Appetit fundraiser. The event brought together the community and top chefs for an evening of good food and great company for an even better purpose.
For more than 70 years, EP!C has been an industry leader in supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families with unique educational, residential, employment and clinical programs. EP!C partners with community businesses, schools, universities, organizations and families in a variety of ways from job placement to volunteerism.
During the event, Robert Flack and Chef Tom Hoffstatter were brought up on stage to be recognized as Robert was recently hired in Par-A-Dice’s banquet kitchen through EP!C’s job placement program. At Par-A-Dice, Robert has a very full schedule working four to six days per week as the hotel is busy with events. He worked with the team at Par-A-Dice and Chef Fabio Viviani, Bravo’s Top Chef, to prepare a 5-course gourmet meal for the 500 guests in attendance.
“Thanks to our sponsors and event partners, we were able to gather with 500 guests as we turned Par-A-Dice into the coolest club in town,” said Kim Cornwell, EP!C CEO. “It was a night of urban decadence as we were treated to a gourmet five course meal and two memorable cooking demonstrations.”
